History

I moved to Spain, from England, 22 years ago, leaving behind my job as an international student recruitment officer at a UK university. Here in Spain, I have worked at an international school and for the last 15 years have run my own English language academy and organised summer trips to the UK for students living in the Alicante area. During this time, I have also advised and helped students and relatives to realise their dream of studying their degree in the UK.

I have seen first-hand how happy it made them, how it opened their eyes to new possibilities and how engaged they were in their studies. I also saw the positive personal transformation in all of them, becoming independent, self-believing adults with a true confidence in their abilities to succeed in their chosen career.

What could be more fulfilling to be a part of? That is why I enthusiastically set up Uni>UK, so that I could use all my knowledge and experience to guide more students on their exciting, fulfilling and valuable pathway.

I am a UK Certified Counsellor. I have successfully completed the British Council’s UK Agent and Counsellor training. This demonstrates my knowledge and awareness of the UK as a study destination and I understand the UK’s National Code of Ethical Practice for Education Agents.
